Meet our Nail Technician

Meet Jenn. Jenn is our new nail technician, and we are thrilled to have her working at Studio. She has been working in the industry for two years. She loves to make and create art. Jenn says, “Nails are more than an afterthought…they are a statement and my favorite accessory.”

Her specialties include:

Hand Sculpted Gel-
This is a form of artificial nails that are hardened by placing the gel under a UV light. Gel nails feel more natural and less rigid than acrylic nails and are easily removed by soaking your nails in acetone for 8-15 min. Gel nails leave a glossy finish and can last up to 3 weeks with no peeling or cracking!

Acrylic Nails-
Acrylic nails are not a replacement, but an extension of the nail. There are two types: tips and nails. Tips are are glued on the end of the natural nail, and then acrylic is applied over the entire nail. Forms are fitted over the nail, and then an artificial nail is molded out of acrylic. Acrylic nails help to conceal or fix broken, damaged, short or bad nails. It also helps prevent people from biting their nails, breakage of nails and protect splits. They can also be used when people are not able to grow the length and strength of the natural nail they desire.

Nail Art-
Drawing cute and beautiful designs on your nail. This takes a lot of skill and patience. Be on the lookout for some of her work on our social media pages soon!

Glitter Toes-
Glitter toes are one of the best things for sandal season. Glitter toes can last up to six weeks without chipping and they stay super shiny. They are real eye-catchers and look super cute! Glitter toes are a version of a gel nail/overlay that protects your nail. Pick your color of glitter, and get ready to sparkle.

Custom Shaping-
Providing your nails with the perfect shape that you want! Jenn is really good at getting your nails to look great without making them break. You can get them rounded, squared, stiletto or many different styles.

Gel Polish Art-
Gel Polish Art is the same thing as nail art, just done with gel! That way you get a cute design with your gel or shellac nails.

Pedicures-
A pedicure is a way to improve the appearance of the feet and nails. Pedicures are done for cosmetic, therapeutic and medical purposes. Pedicures help get rid of dead skin and helps clean and make your feet shine! You also get a nice new coat of paint on your toenails.
